Your Tommee Tippee ComforterClip is designed to keep your baby’s soother close and clean, so it’s there when they need it. Follow the guidance below to learn how to clean, store and use it safely. 

  •  Before every use

    Check the ComforterClip before every use and throw away at the first sign of damage or weakness.

  • ComforterClip Safety

    • Attach this ComforterClip to baby’s clothing only, never to cords, ribbons, laces or loose fabric. 

    • Never lengthen the ComforterClip strap. It complies with the EuropeanStandard EN 12586:2007+A1:2011 and measures under 22cm to meet specific rules and standards, and to keep your baby safe.

    • Remove the holder when your baby is sleeping in their cotor Moses basket.

    • Do not use this soother holder as a toy or a teether. 

  • Cleaning your ComforterClip 

    • Spot-clean with warm water and mild soap. 

    • Do not clean with solvents or harsh chemicals. 

  • ComforterClip Storage  

    • Do not store or leave in direct sunlight or near a source of heat. 

    • Do not store with or allow to come into contact with solvents or harsh chemicals.

  • How do I know when to replace my ComforterClip?

    You should replace it immediately if you spot any signs of stretching, fraying, discolouration or weakness. 

  • Can I put my ComforterClip in the dishwasher or steriliser?  

    No. Spot-clean only with warm water and mild soap. 

  • What can I attach the ComforterClip to?  

    Clothing only. Never attach it to cords, ribbons, laces, blankets or loose parts of clothing.

  • Is the ComforterClip safe for newborns?  

    Yes. The Tommee Tippee ComforterClip is designed to use from 0 months plus. Itcomplies with European Standard EN 12586:2007+A1:2011 and measures under 22cm for safety. Always follow the guidance on this page and remove it during sleep.

  • Can my baby use the ComforterClip unsupervised? 

    No. The ComforterClip should only be used under adult supervision and must be removed when your baby is in their cot or Moses basket.

  • Which soothers are compatible with the ComforterClip?  

    The ComforterClip is designed for use with all Tommee Tippee soothers/dummies and has an easy loop-on design, meaning it's compatible with soothers/dummies from most other brands, too.
