How to use

  1. The Tommee Tippee digital bath & room thermometer is quick, accurate and easy to use. This thermometer will help ensure your baby is comfortable during bath and sleep time.

    The optimal temperature for a baby bath is at body temperature, between 36.5°C and 38°C.

    The optimal room temperature for baby is approximately 18°C.

    MEASURING ROOM TEMPERATURE

    1. Gently tap the thermometer on a hard surface to activate the display.
    2. Temperature will be displayed within a few seconds.

    MEASURING BATH TEMPERATURE

    1. Gently tap the thermometer on a hard surface to activate the display.
    2. Stir water to avoid hot areas.
    3. Place the thermometer in the bath.
    4. Temperature will be displayed within a few seconds.
    5. When the temperature is above 39°C the LED light will illuminate. Reduce water temperature by adding cold water.
    6. When removed from bath, wipe dry.

Cleaning & Maintenance

    How to clean 

    • The thermometer is waterproof and can be wiped clean with water or cleaning lotion.
    • After using the thermometer in water, please wipe clean and allow to dry between uses.

    How to replace the batteries 

    The thermometer is fitted with one CR2032 battery and has a life of about 1 year. After this time, when the display is dimmed the battery may need to be replaced by following the below instructions.

    1. Open the battery cover by turning it anticlockwise using a suitable tool.
    2. If the battery door is tightly embedded and does not come open easily, use a thin tool to gently lever at the edge of the battery door.
    3. Take out and replace the battery with a new CR2032 sized battery. Dispose of used battery according to the instructions.
    4. When replacing the battery ensure the waterproof ring is in the correct position in the groove of the outer ring (fig. 1).
    5. Line up the three lugs on the battery door with the three grooves on the back of the thermometer and secure battery cover by turning clockwise (fig. 2). Examine the thermometer and make sure the battery compartment is secure.

    Oui, le thermomètre est totalement étanche et flotte dans l'eau pour fournir des relevés de température rapides.

    La fonction d'arrêt automatique permet au thermomètre de s'éteindre si la face arrière de l'appareil n'est pas en contact avec l'eau ou le support, alors ne vous inquiétez pas de gaspiller les piles si vous oubliez de l'éteindre.

    Le thermomètre affiche la température en degrés Celsius.

    Appuyez doucement sur l'appareil pour activer l'affichage et la température s'affichera en degrés Celsius sur l'écran LCD en seulement 3 secondes.

    Le thermomètre flotte dans le bain et mesure la température toutes les 5 secondes, vous assurant que la température optimale de l'eau se situe entre 36,5 °C et 38 °C, pour un bain sans danger et confortable pour bébé.

    Ce thermomètre numérique fournit des relevés précis avec une précision de +/- 1 °C.

    Si la température de l'eau excède 39 ˚C, un témoin lumineux s'allumera sur l'écran si la température est trop chaude.
