Pumping is personal. That’s why we stock a range of breast pumps, from manual, hand-held pumps to help you travel light, to wearable electric pumps you can use discreetly at work or at home.

No matter your set up, we’re here to support your feeding journey.

This is personal preference. Going to be using your breast pump a lot? Then an electric one may work best for you. They’re fast and can help to save your wrists and hands from aches and pains that can be caused by prolonged manual pumping.

Only going to be expressing occasionally? Then a manual, hand-held pump may be the best choice for you. They can be quieter, easier to use on the go, and mean that you're totally in control of the pace at which you pump. This can be appealing to some parents who may find electric pumps a little daunting when they're just getting started.

Double pumps express from both breasts at once and help you get more expressed breast milk in less time. You can only express from one breast at a time if you have a single pump.

This will depend on your personal goals and situation. However, if you’re exclusively breastfeeding you are encouraged to wait until your baby is around 6 weeks old before you start pumping to ensure your milk supply has regulated properly.

If you are needing to pump as you’re returning to work or need to be away from your baby, you should start pumping 1-2 weeks before this time so you can start to build up a stash of milk in the freezer.
