Mama Week 2025: We need you!  

This Mother’s Day, we’re celebrating motherhood in all its forms and honouring mothers everywhere. Because we know motherhood is a multifaceted experience. It’s a life-long journey that’s not always picture perfect, but beautiful, nonetheless. 

In partnership with Eye Mama Project, we’re asking you, our community, to share your stories.  

We want to shine a light on pregnancy, birth, postpartum and parenting, and highlight the complexities, contradictions, strength, fragility, and rawness of motherhood.

What is Eye Mama Project? 

Founded in 2020 by Karni Arieli as a space for mothers to share their lockdown experience, Eye Mama Project is a platform where motherhood is shown in all its forms, without judgement.  

Over time the past five years the project has grown into a global community of over 25k followers. In 2022, this powerful collection culminated in the publication of a curated book, “Eye Mama”, which brought together 228 images that celebrate the diversity, inclusivity, and multiplicity of motherhood. 

Showcasing images captured by mother-photographers, the project holds a mirror up to society. It captures a vast spectrum of motherhood and care, and gives visibility to the often-invisible work of mothers worldwide.  

It’s more than a photography initiative. It’s a movement dedicated to showcasing the real stories of mothers, dark and light, through the lens of photographers who’re also mothers and/or carers.  

By shining a light on these untold stories, the Eye Mama Project helps redefine the narrative surrounding motherhood, emphasising its value, duality and depth.

Eye Mama Project has launched a crowdfunding campaign to preserve the project as an archive of care, so that mothers from around the world continue to be seen, and celebrated, for years to come.

Tommee Tippee x Mama Week | Terms & Conditions

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. These rules and terms and conditions are the rules ("Rules") which apply to the Tommee Tippee x Eye Mama Mama Week competition (the "Competition"). By entering the Competition, entrants agree to be bound by these Rules.

2. The Competition is organised by Mayborn (UK) Limited of Mayborn House, Balliol Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE12 8EW (“Mayborn”). You can contact us in relation to the Competition by writing to us at this address.

3. In the event of any dispute regarding the Rules, results and any issues relating to the Competition, the decision of Mayborn shall be final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.

ELIGIBILITY

4. The Competition is open to all residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over at the time of entry excluding employees (or member of their families or households of the employees) of Mayborn and any of Mayborn’s affiliates.

5. By entering the Competition, you confirm that all information submitted by you is true, current and complete. Mayborn reserves the right to check the eligibility of all entrants.

6. There is a limit to one entry per person to the Competition.

ENTERING THE COMPETITION

7. The Competition will run from 9:00am on 24 March 2025 until 17:00pm on 28th March 2025 (“Entry Period”).

8. To enter the Competition, you will need to share an image and story via Instagram or email entry.

9. All the people who send a DM or email with an image and story throughout the Entry period will be entered into the Competition in accordance with these Rules.

10. No purchase or payment is necessary to enter the Competition.

PRIZES

11. The prize is 1 copy of the Eye Mama book and a £20 Tommee Tippee Gift Code to spend on tommeetippee.com.

12. The prizes for the winner are non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.

SELECTING AND NOTIFYING WINNER

13. There will be ten (10) winner selected for this Competition.

14. The winning entrant of the Competition will be the first ten (10) entrants drawn at random by Mayborn in accordance with these Rules, within 14 days of the closing date. In all matters, the decision of Mayborn shall be final.

15. The winning entrant shall be selected at random by using a computer-generated process.

16. The prize winner will be notified via the route they entered to ask for their email address and delivery address for postage of the prize. Claims for prizes must be made in the manner and within the time specified in the prize notification. Return of any prize notification as undeliverable or failure to reply as specified in the notification and within the time stated may result in selection of an alternative winner.

PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION

17. All personal information provided on the entry form shall be stored, processed and used in accordance with our privacy policy which you can read at: Privacy Policy.

18. Each entrant agrees that Mayborn may share any imagery or story provided within the entry form on Tommee Tippee’s social media pages after the competition has ended. This will be carried out in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

19. Mayborn acknowledges that each entrant shall retain ownership or all intellectual property (including any copyright) in your entry shared within the entry form.

20. By entering the Competition, each entrant grants Mayborn a worldwide, non-exclusive, irrevocable, perpetual royalty free licence to use, reproduce and share any images and/or stories for the purpose of the competition.

21. The licence will last for the duration of the relevant intellectual property right and includes the right for Mayborn to:

a. edit or modify your entry (including resizing, adjusting the colour and adding elements such as text);

b. adapt it or incorporate it into other materials; and

c. republish is (or any version modified in the way described above) on any media anywhere in the world.

22. You confirm that your entry:

a. is your own original work and does not breach any third party’s intellectual property rights (for example, by including a company’s trade mark without permission);

b. is not defamatory, offensive, threatening, discriminatory, distasteful, pornographic or illegal;

c. can be submitted to Mayborn and used without breaching any contractual obligation to any person; and

d. does not contain anything which may be confidential or commercially sensitive.

23. If your entry contains photographs or video images of people, you must ensure that you inform them that you intend to use the material for the purposes of this promotion and obtain their consent.

24. We may ask you for evidence of any such consent and reserve the right to disqualify your entry if you are unable to provide it or if we have doubts about its adequacy.

LIABILITIES

25. Mayborn cannot accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrant entering the Competition or as a result of accepting any prize. Mayborn is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, providers, computer equipment or software, failure of any email or entry to be received or sent on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet, telephone lines or at any web site, or any combination of these, including any injury or damage to any entrant's or any other person's computer or mobile telephone related to or resulting from participation in the Competition. Nothing in these Rules shall exclude Mayborn's liability for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence.

GENERAL

26. Mayborn reserves the right to cancel or amend the Competition or the Rules without notice at any time, if considered necessary by Mayborn in its opinion or if circumstances arise which are outside of Mayborn reasonable control. Any changes will be posted within these terms and conditions on our website. 

27. The Competition and Rules will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England.

28. These Rules are the only rules and terms and conditions for the Competition and any other rules and terms and conditions are hereby excluded.
