No, we don’t recommend storing expressed milk in bottles with a teat as it doesn’t provide airtight storage, meaning bacteria could begin to grow.  

You should replace your bottle teats every two months due to natural wear and tear.  

You can wash bottle teats in warm, soapy water or by popping them in the dishwasher. But you must still sterilise them after to ensure safety for your baby. 

You should use a teat labelled specifically for “newborn” or a “size 0/slow flow” teat as these offer a slower, controlled flow.
