How to use
Set up you Wearable Breast Pump
Our pump will arrive assembled. Please disassemble, clean and sterilise before first use.
How to disassemble your pump

- Push the top of the horn to release the clear plastic catch from the top of the motor unit (located next to the charging port).
- Remove the motor, wipe it with a clean damp cloth, and store it safely in the case to keep it free from debris.
- Remove the clear silicone diaphragm(backflow protector), separate the silicone horn (flange) from the collection cup, then remove the duckbill valve.
- Please refer to the next support page tab for suitable cleaning and sterilising instructions.
How to assemble your pump

- Push the duckbill valve onto the milk collector and make sure it’s securely fastened.
- Put the silicone diaphragm into the milk collector and press it to make the edges fasten tightly. This will ensure a perfect seal.
- To install the horn onto the milk collector, align the horn with the groove on the milk collector, then push the horn over the milk collector to form a complete seal, ensuring the lip is over the hard plastic edge all the way around the unit.
- To install the motor of the breast pump into the milk collector, align the notch on the main body with the breast pump slot, then assemble it to fit the milk collector for a complete seal.
- Measure your nipples using the nipple measurement guide and select the correct horn insert for you, if needed. See ‘Horn sizing’ for measuring instructions. Keep your nipple measurement guide safe and regularly re-measure your nipples as your size may change over time.
- Push the horn insert into the tunnel of the horn until it locks in securely.
- Using the USB cable provided (adapter not included), connect your pump to a power outlet and ensure its fully charged before first use.
Charging your pump
A full charge provides up to 200 minutes of cord-free pump time per pump. When the battery is low, the bottom line on the battery level light will flash.
We recommend fully recharging your pump when indicated on the display to maintain battery health.

How to charge your wearable pump
- Start each charge by turning the pump off, it will not charge while switched on.
- Connect the charging cable to the magnetic charging port on the pump monitor at the top.
- Plug the other end of the USB connector into a plug and wall socket.
- While charging, the power light will flash white. Once the battery is fully charged, the battery level light will show3 solid white lines.
This breast pump can be charged with an Electric AC Adapter (not included in the box). Input: AC100 – 240V/50Hz-60Hz. Output: DC5V/2A. Fast charge cable is only supported by 5V/2A or higher adapter.
Using an incorrect adapter, input or output puts the pump at risk of damage and invalidates the product’s warranty. For further guidance, please contact our Parent-care team.
Buttons and display
Tommee Tippee® Wearable Breast Pump controls are conveniently located at the top of the motor, making it easier for you to switch between different modes, levels and pace.
Remember, what suits you in one session might be different to the next, and it’s normal to swap between settings as your comfort levels and breast milk supply shift.

Remember, it’s totally normal for each session to look and feel different. Take some time to play around with the settings, trying different modes, paces and rhythm.
This will help you find patterns that work well for both comfort and output and will also help you feel confident that you know the settings that will give you quick moments of relief.
How to use the nursing bra strap adjusters
Bra strap adjusters provide support and extra space for your Tommee Tippee® Wearable Breast Pump to sit inside your nursing bra comfortably.

To attach bra strap extenders
Simply hook one end of the bra extender onto the inside strap of your nursing bra and tighten the other end securely.
Adjust to fit your Wearable Pump
Loosen straps so your breast pump slips into your nursing bra easily.
Once positioned, tighten to a comfortable fit that helps to support your Wearable Breast Pump, without feeling restrictive.
With the right support, you should be able to move around while expressing hands-free. Your breast shouldn’t feel squashed or too loose.
How to use your Wearable Breast Pump
Before first use and every new session, clean, dry and sterilise all breast pump parts that come into contact with breast milk:
- Horn
- Inserts
- Milk collector
- Duckbill valve
- Diaphragm
Using the 150ml bottle and milk storage lid included with your pump? If so, these should be cleaned, dried and sterilised too.
You can safely sterilise all these parts using microwave or electric steam sterilisation, cold water solution or boiling water.
First, align and position

- Make sure you have measured your nipples and chosen the correct horn insert (if required).
- Press the horn firmly against your breast, leave no gaps and make sure your nipple is centred and looking directly into the tunnel. Keep the pump upright using your nursing bra as a support. If required, use the bra adjusters provided to make extra room in your nursing bra.
- Select your desired suction mode and level to begin expressing.
- Switch modes and levels help keep you comfortable, stimulate let-down, and express breast milk more effectively.
If you’re new to expressing
- Spend some time trying different settings to find a pattern that works best for you. At the beginning, we recommend starting at a low suction level, and working your way up each time.
- When you’re ready, increase the suction every 30-40 seconds, until you find an intensity that matches your comfort and output. If the suction feels too intense, drop back down any time.
- Remember, what feels right for you can change from one session to the next, so it’s normal to swap between settings as your comfort levels and breast milk supply shift.
Ending your session

- When you’ve finished expressing, press the power button for 3 seconds to switch the pump off. Break the seal between your breast and the horn with your finger.
- Separate the milk collector from the pump motor.
- Pour your expressed breast milk into the bottle provided, make sure the opening slot at the top of the horn is aligned with the bottle stood on a flat surface.
Your pump automatically turns off after 30 minutes to help keep you comfortable and prevent overfilling, so you don’t waste a drop. The built-in timer helps to support gentle, well-paced sessions and offers reassurance if you lose track of time.
How do I store my breast milk after I pump?
Once you’ve completed a session, you can easily pour expressed milk into a baby bottle from the opening at the top of the milk collector.
Your Wearable Breast Pump comes with a Tommee Tippee® 150ml Natural Start® Bottle and a milk storage lid, so you can store expressed milk straight away. These storage lids are also compatible with our Natural Start® Silicone Bottles.
When you’re ready to feed, simply unscrew the storage lid and replace with a screw ring attached teat.
Breast milk storage bags may also come in handy – safe and secure with a double fastened seal, these bags can be conveniently stored in the fridge or freezer. Above the seal, there’s space to write the date and volume of expressed milk, so you can track usage more easily.
NHS guidelines recommend labelling stored breast milk with the date so it can be used within the advised timeframe, helping to avoid waste.

REMEMBER |
|

• Never defrost or heat breast milk in a microwave. • Never refreeze breast milk. • Breast milk stored in the fridge but intended for freezing should be frozen within 24 hours. • Once defrosted, breast milk should be kept in the fridge and used within 12 hours. • Do not boil breast milk. • Throw away any leftover breast milk after feeding. |

|
Frozen |
6 months |
- When you want to freeze expressed breast milk, leave some space at the top of your bottle or storage bag for it to expand. It’s easiest to freeze breast milk in individual feed quantities of 2-4oz or 60-125ml.
- Thaw frozen breast milk in the fridge or by standing your bottle or storage bag in lukewarm water until it has reached body temperature. Or use a Tommee Tippee® bottle warmer.
- Your breast milk may separate out into layers when you store it. Give it a shake to mix it thoroughly before feeding your baby.
- If you want to take expressed milk out and about with you, make sure it stays cold or frozen until you need to feed your baby.
Nipple measurement
The latest Tommee Tippee® Single Wearable Breast Pump comes with more horn inserts than our previous model, making it easier to find your best fit.
Additional inserts support a better fit, which in turn reduces leaks and discomfort, and supports a positive breast pumping experience.
Each pump has a 24mm horn and five interchangeable inserts in 13mm, 15mm, 17mm, 19mm and 21mm.
How to use your nipple measurement guide
A nipple measurement guide is included with every Single Wearable Breast Pump pack to help you determine whether an insert can aid the fit.
- Gently stimulate your nipple so it’s at full size and repeat on the other side.
- Measure the diameter of each nipple in millimetres using the nipple measurement guide provided.
- Make sure you measure both nipples because no two nipples are the same.
- Once you have measured both nipples, choose the horn insert that is closest to your nipple size, and then consider experimenting with the size above and the size below.
- Keep your nipple measurement guide in a safe, convenient spot, so you can easily reach for it as your nipple size changes over time.
You will have found your ‘sweet spot’ when you experience the greatest comfort and a consistent milk flow.
If your nipple rubs or feels pinched against the sides of the insert, this may indicate your horn size is too small. We recommend going up a size with the inserts included for a more comfortable fit.
If expressing feels uncomfortable or sore, you may need a smaller insert.
We recommend regularly measuring your nipples as your optimum size may change over time. The inserts can be swapped as little and often as you like. It’s all about what’s comfortable and effective for you.
Mode and suction guide
This pump uses two-stage suction that closely mimics a baby’s natural feeding rhythms. It has 4 modes which change the pattern of the pulls to help trigger let-down, build flow, and express efficiently, and up to 9 suction levels.
By switching between massage and express modes, you can find a feeding pattern that works best for you.
Massage modes
Your Wearable Breast Pump has two massage modes (with 6 levels) to stimulate breast milk production and encourage let down.
Soft-stimulation mode (suction levels 1-6)

- A short sucking pattern to stimulate the mammary glands and breast milk flow.
- Best used at the start of a session to encourage let-down.
- Mimics the gentle, rapid sucking a baby uses to bring breast milk in at the start.
If you select Soft-stimulation mode and leave to run, your pump will increase suction every 45 seconds until it reaches the maximum, level 6. Once you have established a good routine, you may wish to start this mode at a slightly higher level using the + and - buttons. Your pump will move up a level from your desired settings to mimic baby’s natural rhythm.
Stimulation mode (suction levels 1-6)

- A pattern of 10 short and one long pull to efficiently express breast milk and empty hind milk.
- Ideal for boosting output.
- Reflects the mixed rhythm (short, quick sucks with longer pulls that babies often use to keep milk flowing and reach the fattier hind milk.
By default, Stimulation mode starts at level 1 and automatically and gradually increases until it reaches the maximum, level 6. If you select your preferred level, your pump will not increase automatically to help support a more personalised pumping experience.
Express modes
Your Wearable Breast Pump has two express modes (with 9 suction levels) to mimic baby’s natural sucking rhythm to gently and effectively express breast milk. The suction level will not increase automatically. Use the + and – buttons to help you find an expression pattern that works best for you.
Double Drop mode (suction levels 1-9)

- Faster suction pattern with more pulls per minute.
- Imitates the steady, rhythmic sucking of a content feeding baby, keeping expression comfortable.
Expression mode (suction levels 1-9)

- A longer, deeper suction pattern designed for fast, efficient breast milk expression.
- Gentle but effective, it helps stimulate foremilk flow and supports full expression.
- Mirrors the longer, stronger sucks that efficiently drain the breast once milk is established.
Choose your suction strength
Your breast pumps suction levels control and adjust the intensity gradually, from one level to the next.
- Lower suction = A gentler pull which is ideal when you’re just starting a session or if you’re breasts feel more sensitive.
- Higher suction levels = Stronger suction to help you express more milk once your flow is established.
Where to start
If you’re at the start of your pumping journey, we recommend beginning low and working your way up a level each time, until you find the setting that feels natural for you. When you’re ready to increase, wait 30-40 seconds before moving up a level to give your breasts a moment to adjust.
Remember, a higher suction doesn’t necessarily mean more output. Slowly switching between different levels allows you to achieve greater customisation, improving overall comfort and performance.
Cleaning and sterilising
Your Tommee Tippee® Wearable Breast Pump must be cleaned, dried and sterilised before first use and before every new session. The pump motor should not be washed or sterilised. Always disassemble components before cleaning or sterilisation.
