Wearable Pump and Dreamsense Guarantee Terms & Conditions - UK

These are the terms and conditions of our Product Guarantee. Please read them carefully because they tell you what is covered, how to make a claim and any other things you need to do to be able to make a claim. This is in addition to your statutory rights (see below).

Who we are:

This Guarantee is offered by Mayborn (UK) Limited, a company registered in England & Wales under company number 01894022 whose registered office is at Mayborn House, Balliol Business Park, Benton Lane, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE12 8EW ("we", "us"). Tommee Tippee is a trading name of Mayborn (UK) Limited.

You” and “your” means you the customer who has purchased a Product from us.

Which products are covered?

This Guarantee covers the following Tommee Tippee products, each referred to as a “Product”, purchased from our website at https://www.tommeetippee.com/en-gb/.

  • Made for Me™ wearable breast pump
  • Dreamsense smart baby monitor

What if I bought my Product from somewhere else?

If you have purchased any Tommee Tippee items from another retailer, online or in-store, you should address any issues you have to that retailer or website in the first instance. Your statutory rights are against the retailer that sold you the Product.

How long are Products covered?

This Guarantee covers Products for two years from the date of purchase.

What is covered?

Any defect due to faulty materials or workmanship which occurs while the Product is covered by this Guarantee.

What is not covered?

This Guarantee does not cover wilful damage, negligence or minor cosmetic damage caused by fair wear and tear.

Are there limitations?

Yes. These are listed here:

  1.  You must tell us about the defect within the period the Product is covered by this Guarantee.
  2.  Any part of a Product which is considered a ‘consumable’ is not covered by this Guarantee.
  3.  You must have used the Product only for the purposes for which it was designed and intended and in accordance with the instructions.
  4.  The Product must not have been modified, altered or repaired by anyone not authorised by us.
  5.  Any damage caused by incorrect or poor-quality consumables (such as aftermarket water filters) is not covered. If in doubt, only use genuine Tommee Tippee consumables.
  6.  The Product must only have been used for household purposes, any professional or semi-professional use invalidates this Guarantee.

Making a claim

If you need to make a claim under this Guarantee, please call us on 08085 97 9899. Calls are free from UK landlines and mobiles and our lines are open from 9:00am – 5:00pm Monday – Friday. Alternatively, you can contact us through our Facebook page, which you can find here or via webchat on our website. You will need to know the email address that was used to purchase the Product.

We will discuss the defect with you and may ask you some questions or take you through some trouble shooting to try to identify or rectify the problem and to validate your claim.

If we accept your claim, we will repair or replace the Product, at our discretion. You may need to return the Product to us, we will give you instructions how to do this and will pay for the UK postage.

If we replace your Product, that Product will be covered by this Guarantee for two years from the date of replacement.

We may refuse your claim if you:

  1.  do not co-operate with us in determining the cause of the fault,
  2.  do not return the Product, or
  3.  if you provide any incorrect, misleading or incomplete information.

If we refuse your claim, we will tell you why.

What if it has been longer than two years from purchase of the Product

This Guarantee only covers Products for two years from the date of purchase. Do not worry if a defect occurs after this time, we still want to help you so please contact us in the same way you would if you were making a claim.

What about statutory rights?

The Consumer Rights Act 2015 gives you certain legal rights (also known as ‘statutory rights’). The goods that we provide to you must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. This Guarantee is in addition to and does not affect your statutory rights in relation to the Product. Legal

We may amend these terms at any time.

These terms are governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England.

We will collect from you personal data to allow us to register your Product for the Guarantee, and in relation to any claim you may make. We may also contact you from time-to-time about this Guarantee.
