Your Guide to Tommee Tippee Nipples

Let's talk nipples

Whether you're just starting your bottle feeding journey or are an old pro, we recommend that you check that the nipples you’re using are the right ones for your baby's age stage and bottle type, and that they’re in tip top condition.

Did you know?

We recommend changing your bottle nipples every two months. And you should change them immediately if they're damaged, weak or have been bitten by tiny teeth.

As your baby grows, they’ll be able to feed more. So just as you use bigger bottles to hold more milk, you may also need to change your nipples to provide a faster flow.

Does your little one?

Take longer than 20 minutes to finish a feed?

Fall asleep during a feed?

Tug at the nipple while feeding?

These are all signs that your baby is ready to move onto a nipple with a faster flow.

Flow Rates

We offer nipples with a range of flow rates to suit babies from newborns to six months plus. Whether your little one takes their feed slowly or gulps it down quickly, there’s a nipple that’s right for them.

Remember that every baby is different and develops at their own rate, so age indications on our nipples are just a guide. Your baby may be ready sooner or later.

How do I know what nipple I've got?

When you have so much baby stuff around, it can be hard to remember what bits go together.

Our Closer To Nature® and Advanced Anti-Colic bottles use different style nipples. And all our nipples are marked to show their flow rate.

Check out our video guide to help you identify the right nipple for your bottles.
