Tommee Tippee was founded over half a century ago, born from a mission to make everyday life easier for new parents, we have been on this mission every day since. We believe that a thriving parent equals a thriving baby, so we are proud to be supporting mothers2mothers and their inaugural Mothers’ Ball. 

Who are mothers2mothers? 

mothers2mothers is a non-profit organisation made up of mothers supporting mothers living with HIV to help them get the treatment they need.   

mothers2mothers employs women living with HIV as community health workers called Mentor Mothers.  

Mentor Mothers work at health facilities and door-to-door to improve the health of communities across ten African nations. They deliver integrated primary health care services to women, children, adolescents, and entire families. This not only improves the health of communities, but also gives meaningful employment to women living with HIV. 

Since 2001, mothers2mothers have: 

• saved the lives of over 2 million at risk women and children  
• created almost 12,000 jobs for women living with HIV 
• helped to prevent over 4.3 million HIV infections 
• reached nearly 15 million people with health services 
• expanded to nearly 10 African countries  

But there is still so much to do to help them build a fairer, healthier future. 

What is the Mothers Ball? 

The Mothers’ Ball marks the start of a new chapter in the mothers2mothers story. It aims to broaden the m2m community, deepen the understanding of their mission and elevate the opportunity to change lives. Bringing together likeminded people who believe in the transformational impact of the health care that Mentor Mothers deliver throughout their programmes.
