The Gro Egg2 comes well packaged and with enough information on how to use it. I was hesitant to get this at first due to previous reviews from friends and online reviews that said that it was a "judgy egg" but I'm so glad I ignored them. You can adjust the light in four settings (bright, medium, low, off) which shows off a different colour depending on the temperature of the room. The light is currently on the setting off but I know it will prove a really easy way to gage what the temperature is in the room and then readjusting what clothing to put baby in for bedtime. Personally, I think this is a great product and can even be used as a night light as well if you're on a budget! I would recommend it and would say to anyone who is worried about the room temperature to not be as this product will just help you identify what clothing to put on little one when putting them to bed.

I initially bought the TT star shaped room thermometer and while it was accurate it was a bit of a hassle to use for monitoring the room - constantly had to tap it to see the temperature. It got really frustrating. I think ill reserve it for the bath. This GroEgg beauty however is excellent!! I love how it changes colour according to temp (red if its too hot). Especially useful if youve woken overnight and you can just glance over and either rest reassured OR move to sort the temperature out. Ive used it to test all the rooms and am making adjustments before the baby comes! Love love love it!

I have one of these at our house and the other is at my grandson's home. It gives me peace of mind that the room in which he sleeps is the right temperature for him in his sleep suit. It is extremely easy to use, giving a visual display of the temperature in digital form and light colour. Its soft glow acts as a reassuring night light.

Absolutely love it and find the room temp guide most useful. Definitely a nursery essential. But 2 things: - I find the light switch located at the bottom not the most convenient (I tend to keep lights off to keep room dark) what about a touch/tap dome on off? - would be even better if there’s an app/ WiFi connectivity to read the temperature because I have sometimes woken my little one up going into the room to check on the temp reading

I bought this about a month ago and it’s been great. Initially we couldn’t get the crysensor to work but seeing another review mentioning an error in the manual we now have it working. The manual shows a symbol with a cross through it and says this is the crysensor on but this is actually the off for crysensor. Other than that I would still recommend pip the panda. Baby prefers the white noise on the lowest volume but occasionally we do the middle volume if a lot of noise downstairs so not to wake her. Doesn’t just work instantly as took her a couple days to get used to it but a month down the line and we’re definitely happy xx

I don't understand how you can still be selling these products when the cry sensors don't work. I had the rechargeable Pip the Panda and the cry sensor didn't work. The white noise just played constantly on a loop, no matter what setting I had it on (yes, I know the printed manual is incorrect). I swapped it for a second one and the EXACT same thing is happening. And your customer service is TERRIBLE. I have tried to email and reach out via Facebook. And when I called, I was simply told it was faulty. I used to have the Ollie the Owl (with batteries) and it was great aside from the fact I was replacing the batteries every 48 hours. Extremely disappointed and very frustrated.

Sensor has not worked since the start, it's taking weeks to get this returned for a refund as they keep making me jump through hoops. Meanwhile I don't have a sleep aid for my baby so you can imagine how unimpressed I am with this.

I bought the first one which was the owl, got it home and charged to see that the white noise, sound options weren't working only the lullabies. As I primarily bought it for this feature I returned the owl. They only had the panda when I went back, thought great the sounds now work, only to have the cry detector not functioning. Its an expensive sleep aid to have when it doesn't work properly. Reluctant to return to try another to see if 3 times is the charm or just another disappointment.

Fantastic product but poor manual. Many claim the cry mode won’t work and give a poor rating but it actually does. Unfortunately the the manual is rubbish and so is the customer service through amazon. Put battery unit in position 3 (1 is the circle/switched off) then press the left hand (or the right, I am not 100% sure which side, just try) to choose a melody, then continuously press the same hand until music stops after a few seconds. In this mode it should switch on whenever baby cries or there is a strong noise.

Wow this really helped our little boy sleep. It has great white noise and music. We find it just as soothing as he does. We are amazed that the battery charge lasts so long. We have had it on the setting which detects if they stir in the night and it last 6 weeks before we needed to charge it again. It’s really cute and as seen in the pictures. It is definitely worth the price tag.

My baby loves the sounds and they are very soothing, and it would be fantastic if the sleep/movement sensor was sensitive enough. By the time it goes off baby is already awake and it misses the moment to soothe them back to sleep. Ended up buying a my hummy.

This is my 2nd Grofriend. I originally bought the Bear for my son before he was born and it was a miracle worker. My son would fuss a little and Bennie would come on and settle him. We were going through so many batteries tho and ran the risk of him running out through the night. When we saw that Grofriend were now USB friendly we had to get another one to save on batteries. I still love Pip, he still helps my little one sleep. The charge lasts ages. He's super cute and soft. The option to keep him on all night is much better! I love everything about him, except the fact that he's not as sensitive as my original Bennie Bear. My son doesn't always cry out loudly through the night so Pip doesn't always turn back on as much as Bennie. Would highly recommend!!!

This is a cute cuddly toy but did not work for us as a sleep aid. Our son doesnt cry loudly, and so does not trigger the white noise to come on. If he ever did cry long/loud enough to reach the decibels required he would be so upset that some white noise or lullabies would not help! Perhaps for some babies this will be useful but for us it is just an expensive cuddly toy.

I gave this to my sister as she has just had a baby. The panda itself is alittle on the large side for a newborn and would be hard to make the connection of a teddy as they grow due to size. It is also alittle on the loud side and the choice of 3 sound settings doesn't go s quiet as she would like. However with that said he is very cute to look at and the USB charging capability is really good and holds the charge really well. Overall we like product but could be made more "cuddle" friendly

Wow my 2 week baby girl is falling asleep and settling herself to sleep. I would really recommend it. I wish I’d owned this for my first 2 children and would have had much better sleep. It makes white noise, water sounds, calming music and a heart beat sound. They are all quite good but the white noise is great to help sleep in the night. It also has 3 volume settings for each sound. There is also a light on the tummy which has 3 brightness modes which soothe baby and helps through the night to check on little one. It has a hanging strap which is so handy as I can hang it on her crib. The CrySensor Mode is a godsend, it automatically turns on to soothe little one back to sleep when they wake through the night! Another amazing feature of this product is that it’s rechargeable! Overall I find this product an absolute necessity for any mummy/daddy to be! It has so many useful features and I will definitely be recommending it to all my mummy/daddy friends!

My 1 year old sometimes gets up through the night and all he is looking for is to know someone is there which means me just lying him back down and tucking him in again but when we got Pip the panda I haven't been having to do that. As soon as my son cries the panda will play a lullaby and that reassures him and he goes back to sleep. I also love that it has volume control and also a night light which you can select how bright you want it. I love it and my son loves it too :)

I got this a few week ago, my Little one was in need of a new one and I must say my first overall impression is that its fantastic ! It looks and feels great very eye catching and lovely and soft I love how it has several different areas to press to make different sounds and also make it's tummy light up with a soothing warm night light, my Little boy loves it! I also love how it has a cry sensor so when he wakes up stirring the teddy comes on by itself and lullaby's him back to sleep which is super handy all in all it's a fantastic product id give it five stars just what I wanted and more and I would definatley recommend to other people

I originally had the gro bag for newborns and loved it so much I had to get the next size up. The cosy ones are perfect for winter and the lightweight ones for summer. Better than normal sleeping bags as they’re more snug around the chest making it cosier and making the baby feel more secure. I especially love the zip so you can change the nappy without undoing the whole bag. Will be buying the next size up when my girl outgrows this one.

I bought this thinking it would be a solution to help my son have a better nights sleep. He was in a habit of waving his arms around in his sleep and waking himself up through out the night. I thought this would help him as his arms would be tucked up inside. I bought him this when he was 3 months old but I could not get his arms in and zip it up... he is by no means a large baby. With his arms out of the sleeping bag it is very tight around his torso so I'm very confused how this is fit for purpose especially for a baby up to 9 months.

I have a baby who loves to swaddle but no matter how well we wrap her up she ends up breaking it. Evidently my baby also likes having a good flap about! Consequently she was having trouble sleeping - I think the feeling of being cocooned was key to helping her. Then I found the Grobag snuggle, and it was a complete game changer. The sleeping bag’s ability to close the arms with poppers means I’m able to ‘swaddle’ my baby without the faff of wrapping her in blankets and her unravelling herself. And if she wants to have a wriggle instead I can simply open the arms and she can flap around and stretch. This product is definitely a good investment if you have fussy sleepers that want to feel like they’re wrapped up and definitely worth every penny if you want some time and sleep back - my baby has slept soundly since using this particular Grobag!

My son was born with a clubbed foot so has to wear special boots to help his foot to stay in place, so finding a grobag that fits has been difficult, but this has been a godsend! It fits perfectly and having a zip both ends is super handy for nappy changing. The design is gorgeous and it is super soft and cozy. Love it!

I used this as a step up from swaddling my little one and is great to use when they're so little. Keeps them nice and cosy when putting them to bed, it's great for warmth and comes in a cute little design. Because it is a sleep bag it removed my anxiety around loose bedding.

So glad they do these in bigger sizes as my 4 month old was beginning to grow out of his newborn one. These are so much nicer than your standard sleeping bag as they are a lot more fitted not baggy and almost hug round baby and theres loads of designs to choose from. Great for smaller babies as theres no fear of their heads going through the hole which is the problem we had and good to have the option of swaddling fully. Will continue to buy these in the different togs as seasons change .

On trying this Grobag on on my little girl I have to say it was excellent quality, it was super soft and the tog was perfect for her, she slept like a dream , it also helped her feel safe and warm and comfortable at the same time. I would recommend this product to anyone who has babies.

I was looking for something similar for my son and I was lucky to be given a chance to try it for free in return of my honest opinion. This is very easy to use, can be used as a swaddle with the arms tucked in or as a sleeping bag with the arm out. It's ideal for cooled winter night. The zip allows to change nappy easily. It is very soft and cosy and machine washable too. Would definitely recommend it

The sizing is awful, my 13lb baby only just fits, it will last a couple of weeks at the most when I was hoping to get 5 months use from it.The zip, once you have wrestled your child into the very unfriendly sleeves then sits under the chin of your baby and is very uncomfortable. I can not understand why the shoulder poppers have been removed or the zip reshaped - madness. I have been buying Grobags for around 10 years for various babies and this will be my last. Much better to spend less on a product made by a competitor as at least they fit!

We've been using Grosnug / Grobag Snuggle sleeping bags since our daughter was born, as a swaddle with arms in for the first couple of weeks and with arms out since (she's now 2 months old). She is very long so we were worried she would run out of space quite fast (the initial Grobag used to be for up to 12 weeks - not sure if sizing has changed now it is called Grobag Snuggle 0-4m). Anyway, I discovered they now had a 3-9m size so got this one (0.2 tog with panda design): the design is lush and I like the 0.2 tog in this warm weather as it gives us the flexibility to adjust what she wears underneath depending on the temperature of our room (19°C when we go to bed, but sometimes 22°C by the end of the night!). She now has plenty of space lengthwise but the neck is still nice and snug (not tight) so I'm not worried of her head slipping through during the night. She even still fits now she has a Pavlik harness for her hips.

Bought whilst pregnant for when baby arrived. Great item, love how the arms can be in or out of the bag and the second zip so nappy changes are easy and I don’t need to fully remove. Only downside is the chest section could be small for some babies, not sure if it will still fit at 4months even with my baby being small in size.

I have a small baby and well under the weight guidelines for this product. I sent it back for a refund with tracked delivery. While I was waiting I purchased the bigger size. It’s been so long now and still no refund. I’m highly disappointed, especially from an established brand.

Love this item Like how snug it is around the body with space for their legs to have movement. Small size though. I bought 3-9 month- my little girls 14 week and can't see it fitting much longer (in 3-6 clothing) But happy with the product

These are lovely and worluld definitely suit younger babies as they are quite small. Also not sure you would need to swaddle older ones. I tried 3-9 months and I could hardly get my 3 month old in it with his arms out, so I would say to get a larger size.

I'm so glad we have this, we have tried many different grow bags but this one is a definite winner. The easy zip is great for Nappy changes. The material is super soft and the popper up arms helps baby feel safe and snug all night long! You can even unpopper them if baby is awake or an arms up sleeper...its the perfect fit not loose or baggy around the chest area!

This is by far the best grobag I have purchased for my 3 month old daughter. The material is so soft and the thickness is just right for this time of the year. I love the fact is keeps her snug & secure and is so simple to put her in and easy to take off. The best feature is you can choose to either have your babies arms inside the swaddle or outside as a grobag. Will defiantly be sticking to these from now on and purchase again

I am really happy and super excited to share my thoughts about this awesome product i recieved to review from tommee tippee. This is a snuggle grobag made of 95% cotton.i recieved in size 3-9mon baby.works well at 14-16°c.The best part is that i noticed a good difference in my childs sleep. He sleeps so better and relaxed in this bad than before.its super comfy and warm for him. I can wrap it with or without his arms free , also it has a zip , by opening half of the zip you can change nappy and rezip again.very easy to use and awesome for my little bubba.

I absolutely love this I usually can't decide what to get for my baby as my baby is fussy with products so I've tried blanket and throws and my baby doesn't seem comfortable with wearing it so I managed to get this gro bag snuggle and my baby loves it he wears it at night during the day and when we go out too I'm so glad I got this. The snuggle bag is very big and super soft not to hard I definitely suggest this to other patents. I'm going to be buying more of these.

Ordered this for my littlest boy after previously having other grow bags for my oldest boy. We wa not disappointed. The pattern print design was nice and subtle for sleep. The added bonus of it being ‘swaddling’ and the arms being able to be zipped in or able to be free was brilliant for the colder nights so my little boys hands didn’t get cold when he’d decided to pull his scratch mits off. I would definitely recommend this product and will be looking out to expand our Grobag range in the future.

This sleep blanket is so cute and cosy looking , before I got it I worried about my baby and his safety with blankets in the night , now we use this we both sleep so much better ! This product is good quality and effective, but the age range can not be considered accurate; my baby was born 7 and a half pounds and out grew the 0-4 month sleeping bag by the time he was 3.5 weeks old.

The reason for 4* is purely because I thought the point of the USB charge meant this item could be charged - not constantly plugged in. Possibly a misunderstanding on my part. The design is sleek and modern, would look great in any bedroom/nursery. We’re using pre-baby’s arrival to get used to the nightlight and I have to say it is very comforting. It’s great you can choose levels of brightness. It is very expensive - however - I bought on a baby event weekend.

It feels cheep compared to the old style ollie the owl. The music sounds very tinny sounding and low quality. It is good that it is now rechargeable and the cry sensor can be used on all settings all night but the sound quality makes it hard to listen to the lullabies.

It’s alright. You can have a basic thermometer for a tenth of the price and coordinate off that because quite frankly you cannot manually change the colour to a neutral colour. In the summer it’s bright red. Wife hates it. Basically have an expensive thermometer that needs plugging in (not rechargeable) and stuck red in summer. Going to be honest, I’ll stick with the rechargeable (almost identical portable competitor) that can be mild blue/white or pale yellow and a battery powered thermometer. Manually allow the colour to white and make rechargeable and it would be a good product.

Going to have to send it back. My son who is less than the kg needed for this and small for his age can't fit in it, when trying to use it as a swaddle , which is why I bought it. It is far too tight I can't even fit one arm in let alone both. The only way to use it is to put his arms through like a sleeping bag/growbag which I already have at home for half the price! Not impressed.

Worth its weight in gold. Helps my little girl sleep amazingly with her arms out but if needed there’s the option to put one arm back in as she’s still not rolling or showing signs of rolling. She’s 2 months old but quite long so we ordered 3-9 months

It's fine as a room thermometer, but it is *only* a thermometer - you definitely couldn't use this as a nightlight, which was our intention, as it's tiny and gives out almost no light even on the brightest setting. I'm also surprised by how cold it seems to want the room to be - ours has never been any colour but orange (meaning a little too warm) and I wouldn't say the room feels too warm, but maybe that's just me.

I bought this swaddle a week ago, and it is the best on the market. Have tried other brands too, but this one helps the little one fall asleep very quick. Material is so soft, my baby loves it so much!

I was so happy when I received this. The fabric is so soft and stretchy, and it's perfect for the bit of warm weather we've been having lately. I like that it's a zip rather than poppers as it makes it easier to change her during the night feeds. My daughter suffers with bad colic and likes to be swaddled, however when we use blankets she'll often wriggle out of them. I like how you can use it with babies arms in or out too. Safe to say it's one of the better nights sleep shes had so far!

We used this product to combat our babies wriggles during the night. The Grobag kept him nice and cost and helped increase the time he would sleep during the night. Would recommend as an alternative to a traditional swaddle.
